We launched mathantics.com about 12 years ago with only 30 video lessons. Since then, our collection has grown to over 90 videos. Yet, we’ve kept our annual membership fee steady at $20 per year that whole time (although we temporarily reduced it to help out during the pandemic.)
We have delayed raising our membership price as long as we possibly could because we really want our service to be affordable for as many people as possible. That’s why all of our Video Lessons are completely free to watch both on our website and on YouTube.
Despite the popularity and success of our videos on YouTube, our overall business revenues have been dropping significantly… more than 10% per year for the past 5 years.
As a result, beginning March 14th (pi day), we’ll be increasing our annual Membership price from $20 to $30 per year, and our annual renewal price from $10 to $20 per year.
This price increase will only effect Members who join on or after March 14th of 2026. So if you’ve been on the fence about whether to join the site, you may want to sign up soon.
We truly appreciate your support! The income we get from our membership fees helps us stay in business so we can keep making new math videos that are free for anyone to watch.
